Description:
In this black and white photograph two boys stand about six feet apart with a bamboo pole stretching between them supported on their shoulders. Each boy is holding a fishing pole and there are about 14 fish strung on the bamboo pole. They are standing on the sandy beach with the ocean visible on the right and hills behind them. The boy on the left is wearing a hat with a visor, a short sleeved shirt and pants rolled up to mid-calf. The boy on the right is wearing overalls rolled up to above the knees. The shadow of the boys and the pole of fish is very clear behind them and the shadow of the photographer, wearing a hat, is at the bottom of the picture.
