Description:
B&W 8x10 photo shows a young man running out of the surf, one leg is touching the sand and the other is raised at the knee. He is in black swim trunks (with some sort of white kerchief attached at the waist) and wears a white bathing cap. He is passing under an overhead finish line to which 3 triangular flags are attached and blowing in the wind. At a distance in the background a wave is beginning to break.
