In this black and white photograph seven young men are standing by a hillside and a boy is seated in their midst. Six of the young men, in a circle, are raising their hands toward one another, as if clinking glasses in a salute but they have something else (unidentifiable) in their hands. The boy on the left of this circle has a hatchet stuck into his belt. The smaller boy sits at the center of this circle. He is wearing a beanie and looking at the camera. To the left of these boys and slightly toward the camera stands another young man who is gazing off to the right. There is a box and some gear in the right hand corner of the photo. Could this possibly be a Boy Scout ceremony?
