Description:
Wide angle view of Highway One looking north from Calle del Mar intersection. Beckers by the Beach is partially visible on the right, and a rooftop beyond. Otherwise it is shrubbery all along the right side of the highway. On the lefthand corner a chainlink fence behind a traffic guard railing runs the length of an empty lot that will become Village Green II. Right now it is full of weeds. A square sign on the corner of the fence advertises Shakespeare at the Beach performing Romeo and Juliet. To the right of the fence on a small concrete island is a hexagonal stop sign facing north. A low flat building (the Library) sits behind the lot. There is another rectangular sign beyond that and trees line the rest of the roadway, along with telephone poles/wires.
