Notes:
The White Gate Ranch was occupied by Silva family(Jose Silva, one of the sons, later became Bolinas Fire Chief) in 1940s and Rick Solano in 1960s. The Ranch was bought by GGNRA in 1970s from the then owner, George Leonard who also owned Stinson Beach Water Company at the time and Solano lost the lease to operate. The ranch was located on the present Panoramic Highway, near Steep Ravine and Dipsea trail head. The trees are still there today, 2002. (ta)
